Recipe: Cheddar Cheese Biscuits
My daughters love bread. This last Thanksgiving one of them was much more interested in the rolls than the turkey. I have a quick biscuit recipe that I use and some say it tastes just like a certain seafood chain restaurant’s biscuits.
You’ll need:
2 c. Bisquick
2/3 c. milk
1/2 c. shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 c. butter (melted)
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
Mix Bisquick, milk and cheese until dough is soft; beat vigorously 30 seconds; drop dough by 10-12 spoonfuls about 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet; bake 8-10 minutes at 450; mix butter and garlic powder then brush on warm biscuits; serve warm
